Agreement Regarding Repair Requests
By submitting a repair request to COTODAMA Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”), the customer shall be deemed to have agreed to the following terms:
- If the customer does not authorize the repair within 10 days after the Company provides a repair cost estimate, the repair request will be treated as canceled.
- Repair charges must be paid by cash on delivery when the product is returned to the customer.
- If the repair is canceled, an inspection and diagnostic fee will be charged.
- Repairs may take additional time depending on circumstances, including the availability of replacement parts.
- The Company will manage customers’ personal information lawfully and appropriately in accordance with applicable personal information protection laws.
- The Company may outsource all or part of the repair services to a service provider selected by the Company.
- Personal information provided by the customer will be used for the purpose of performing the repair services.
- Within the scope necessary to fulfill the stated purpose of use, the Company may disclose or provide the customer’s personal information to its service providers.
- If the customer does not provide the required personal information, the Company may be unable to accept the repair request.
- If the actual repair cost is substantially different from the estimated amount, the Company will provide a revised estimate and proceed with the repair only after obtaining the customer’s renewed approval.
- If the customer fails to accept delivery of a product submitted for repair or a repaired product (hereinafter referred to as the “Product”) for six months after the Company took possession of it, despite the Company having notified the customer again of the return date—including cases in which the Company is unable to contact the customer—the customer will be deemed to have relinquished ownership of the Product. The Company may then dispose of the Product at the customer’s expense.
- The Company does not accept products solely for disposal.
- Parts replaced during the repair will not be returned to the customer.
- If the same issue recurs in the same part of the Product following a repair performed by the Company, and the Company determines that another repair is necessary, the Company will perform the repair again free of charge, provided that the request is made within three months of the original repair completion date. When requesting another repair, the customer must include the report from the previous repair.
- Except where damage results from the Company’s willful misconduct or gross negligence in connection with the repair of the Product, the Company shall not be liable for:Damage arising from causes not attributable to the CompanyDamage arising from special circumstances, regardless of whether the Company could have foreseen such circumstancesLoss of profits or consequential damageDamage arising from claims made against the customer by a third partyDamage to, modification of, or loss of the operating system, data, or other softwareAny other related loss or liability
- If the Product becomes stained or damaged while in the Company’s possession, the Company will, in principle, address the matter by repairing the Product.
- Any matters not specified in this Agreement shall be governed by the Company’s Repair Service Terms and Conditions.

Submit a repair request → Send the product for repair → Repair is performed → Product is returned to the customer
Repair Costs Within the Warranty Period
If your product malfunctions during the warranty period and you wish to request a free repair, please present the product, warranty card, and documents showing the place and date of purchase to the retailer from which you purchased the product or to our support team.
The customer is responsible for the cost of sending the product to us. We will cover the cost of returning the product after repair.
Paid Repairs Outside the Warranty Period
General Repair Process
Submit a repair request → Send the product for repair → Diagnose the issue → Provide a repair estimate → Customer decides whether to proceed → Repair is performed → Product is returned to the customer
Estimated Repair Costs and Fee Structure
Charges will be based on the repair or inspection fee and transportation costs. Please note that even if you decide not to proceed after receiving an estimate, you will still be responsible for the inspection fee and the actual transportation costs incurred.
