SAFE AND SECURE SHIPPING INFORMATION
COTODAMA has adopted the following shipping policy to ensure that our customers receive their items with confidence.
SHIPPING CARRIER AND AREAS COVERED
Within the U.S.: We use FedEx to provide traceable delivery.
Within Europe: We use TNT to provide traceable delivery.
Within Japan: Sagawa Express provides traceable delivery service.
Countries other than the above: DHL is used to provide traceable delivery.
BASIC SHIPPING POLICY
- We do not offer unattended delivery:
We do not offer unattended delivery. All shipments must be confirmed upon receipt by signature. Why? Because we want to ensure your package is safely delivered to you, and not to your neighbour or any other wrong location. Therefore, please remember to ship to an address, where you are personally available during daytime as our delivery usually takes place during daytime.
- Liability in transit:
COTODAMA is responsible for any damage or loss during transit until the goods are handed over to the customer.
- Trackable delivery:
You can check the status of your shipment at any time through the tracking systems of the respective carriers.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We may refuse or cancel any order or limit any quantity at our sole discretion, even after receiving your order. We may also require additional qualifying information before accepting or processing your order. While it is our practice to confirm charges by e-mail, your receipt of an e-mail confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of your order or confirmation of an offer to sell a product or service.
If you wish to transact through the COTODAMA Store, you may be asked to supply relevant information, such as your payment and shipping information. By submitting such information, you grant us the right to provide such information to third parties to facilitate transactions. Verification of information may be required before acknowledging or completing any transaction. YOU REPRESENT AND WARRANT THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO USE ANY PAYMENT METHOD YOU CHOOSE TO USE TO COMPLETE ANY SUCH TRANSACTION.
Many events beyond our control can impact the actual delivery of your order, and you agree we are not liable for late deliveries. The product title will pass to you upon delivery of the products to the carrier; however, the risk of loss or damage to the products will pass to you upon delivery.
In certain regions, although we are the operator of the COTODAMA Store, the products and services may be sold to you by our appointed reseller as the seller of record, according to contractual arrangements between the reseller and us. As described above, you have a contract with that appointed reseller to supply those products and services. In such a case, the point of purchase or your order confirmation will include the appropriate contact information for any issues relating to your order. COTODAMA INC. and its affiliates are express third-party beneficiaries of these Terms in cases between you and the appointed reseller.
RETURNS POLICY
Instructions for Return: The return request must be made within 14 days from the Order's date (unless explicitly stated in the brand's Policy or required by applicable specifically prevailing consumer law).
If you wish to return one or more Products you purchased under these Terms, the following instructions apply:
You must first inform of your decision to return the Product by a clear statement made through the return portal, follow the instructions, and provide the requested information therein, including providing proof of purchase (your Order identification number and the email address used for the Order), indicating the applicable items to be returned and the quantity thereof and selecting the applicable method of returning the product (if different options are available). If a returns portal link is unavailable on the Store or the Online Support link (if available) in the Order Confirmation, then you must inform of your intent to return your Order through customer support, which will guide you through the process. A return Product authorization ("RMA") number will be provided to you (through the portal (if applicable) and via e-mail), and, if applicable, a return shipment label will be generated.
Promptly, you will return the returned items or hand them over as per the instructions in the return portal. You must act without undue delay and, in any event, no later than 14 days from the date you communicate your cancellation of the contract. The RMA number must be included in the return package.
Unless otherwise explicitly stated, items must be returned in a new and unused state, in perfect condition, with all protective or other materials in place and tags and stickers attached to them (if applicable), as well as with the original box/container, including all accessories and documents.
All returns could be subject to strict quality control to ensure the returned items satisfy these requirements. If the item does not meet such standards, the return and refund could be refused, or the Product devaluation will be deducted from the refund amount. Upon receipt of the returned item and confirmation that the applicable requirements have been met, you will be reimbursed for the actual paid price and other fees, if applicable, under these Terms. Some or all initial Delivery Costs you paid with the Order may be reimbursable or refundable, if applicable, based on these Terms and the Brand's Policy. However, any delivery and clearance costs you incur when returning items may not be eligible for reimbursement or refund other than in the event of a defective Product, where you will be reimbursed for the delivery costs.
From time to time, in select destinations, the Delivery Costs of returning returned items may be pre-paid on your behalf. Such coverage (or its absence) will be indicated clearly in the store before checkout.
Duties and Taxes are generally non-refundable; for further information, please review the Section captioned "Duties and Taxes."
